Advance an EJ Project
Is your New England coalition, nonprofit or Tribal community tackling environmental justice challenges?
The Hub is here to help you navigate the landscape of federal funding, technical assistance, and partnership opportunities. Whether you’re looking to leverage federal funding as a direct applicant, collaborate as a partner, or influence how states allocate federal resources for environmental justice, the Hub can help guide your efforts.
Who We Support:
New England nonprofits, Tribes, Indigenous organizations, and state coalitions actively addressing environmental challenges (e.g., reducing pollution in underserved communities, advocating for clean energy access, or promoting climate resilience).
Organizations with at least one team member responsible for advancing an environmental justice project.
Priority criteria: Organizations that have recently submitted a federal grant and have previous grant materials that can be repurposed for different opportunities.
To learn more, email support@hub.grassrootsfund.org. If you meet the criteria listed above, request a hub intake form and a team member will be in touch.
Federal Funding Technical Assistance (TA)
Technical assistance (also called “TA”) is crucial in simplifying grant processes, building capacity, and connecting stakeholders, ensuring equitable access to funding. By providing guidance, training, and collaboration opportunities, TA can help organizations secure resources for climate resilience, public health improvements, and other community-driven solutions. There are dozens of federal TA programs and the Hub encourages you to consider them during your journey. Some examples are below.
